Welcome to the 'Grad' at wwwthegrad.net.nz 

The 'Grad' is an  online space for NZIA Graduate members to communicate with each other. 

All  NZIA Graduate members  will be able to log on to the website to post news, events, photos,  ... the list goes on.

The most important function of the 'Grad'  is to inform members about the  NZIA APL Graduate Development Programme.(GDP) The main participatnts  of the programme are  Architecture Graduates Members of the NZIA.  The  Membership rules state that the Council may admit to Architecture Graduate Membership any person who is graduated to hold a degree, diploma or certificate course recognised by Council and is approved by Council and is demonstrably on the path to becoming an architect member. Such membership will be reviewed by Council after a 5 year period to ensure that such person continues to comply with this Rule. The Council may, if it considers that such person no longer complies with this Rule, remove the name of such person from the Roll.

So the Grad site and the NZIA APL Graduate Programme is an important initiative of the NZIA. 

From this  website GDP Members are informed about the NZIA Graduate Development Programme and  are updated on the New Zealand Registered Architects Board (NZRAB) requirements for registration.
