Hi
At a recent GDP seminar, on Procurement & Contract Administration, I made notes that referred to adding the Arbitration Act Seperate Agreement to Arbitration, so that you will go to Arbitration first in the case of a disagreement.
I notice that SCC 2009 does not include this schedule/agreement (formerly Schedule G2), is it recommended to add this in as a special condition?
Why is it preferable to go to Arbitration first, rather than Mediation?
Can you elaborate further on how AAS and SCC 2009 handle the matter of Disputes?

Hi there,
I too am interested to know the answer to this question, and notice no reply has been given,
In the event that i wish to get the consumer (client) to sign a separate agreement to arbitration, what are the definate advantages for the client agreeing to sign this?
